An online membership-based fitness studio for adults 50+ with one goal: to support your quality of life as you age with physical training.

Our programs are focused on helping you maintain and improve your strength, mobility, and agility as you get older.

At The MOB, we’re thinking ahead: we’re focused on preparing you for daily life’s requirements now AND the next 20+ years.

Within the fitness industry, the 50 and over population is under-served, under-estimated, and under-educated. Mainstream fitness targets either a younger and uninhibited crowd or a “senior” chair yoga crowd.

There’s a massively under-served population in between that’s looking for guidance, ways to regain and maintain strength and mobility without fear of injury in a fast paced class but still capable of being challenged.

The MOB began as an online mobility class during the pandemic, evolving into a thriving community of individuals aged 50 and older. Over the past three years, members have witnessed remarkable improvements in strength, mobility, and confidence, proving that age is just a number.

Our success lies in consistency, individual support, and the formation of a supportive community with shared values.

What people are saying . . .

Alia and all of the trainers at The MOB are wonderful. They are invested in all of their clients and truly care about each individual. Being able to choose your own classes each week makes this program a good fit for any lifestyle. I also love that the classes are 30 minutes- it’s the perfect amount of time and I always feel great afterwards. The staff are all knowledgeable and happy to answer any questions or modify based on client requests and needs. I highly recommend!

I was reluctant to join The MOB due to years of inactivity. Signing up for the beginner strength series allowed me to overcome my fear of starting something new and unfamiliar. I got into a habit of exercising at least once a week, and learned the basic strength movements. I used the opportunity to attend other classes offered by The MOB, and got to know other coaches. After completing the series I was ready to join The MOB, because I realized that I could incorporate physical activity into my everyday life in a way that is supportive, challenging, and rewarding.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I hope this review helps distinguish The MOB from the gazillion choices of gyms, personal trainers and online fitness regimens. The MOB is my supportive, consistent reminder that my life-long health and fitness are within my power - with the help of a select group of coaching experts, guiding and challenging my mobility, strength, balance, endurance and more. The sessions are a convenient 30 minutes and the classes are kept small, ensuring individual feedback and encouragement.
It begins with a commitment to yourself to just show up, and keep showing up. The MOB will take care of you from there.

The fitness industry, the medical system, and the media frequently and unnecessarily coddle anyone with a gray hair which robs you of your agency and reduces your autonomy.

We know that strength, mobility, and agility are first-line treatment options for managing osteoarthritis, osteoporosis, menopause, falls prevention, and chronic pain and that’s exactly what we focus on inside the MOB. This is not a cookie cutter membership and you’re not just another cog in the wheel.
